About This Spot

Settled comfortably in the picturesque outskirts of Sir Ad Dinniyah, Abu Nawas Restaurant invites you into a space where time gently slows and the outside world softens. Arriving here feels like slipping into a calm corner of Lebanon’s rich culinary landscape, where light shifts with the day and each moment carries the quiet hum of genuine hospitality.

The atmosphere is unpretentious yet warm, blending the simplicity of local charm with a touch of care in every detail—from the neatly arranged indoor seating to tables that open out to wide views of the rolling hills and fresh air. It’s a spot where the pace encourages conversation, where a shared meal unfolds naturally over laughter and lingering sips of Turkish coffee.

The heart of Abu Nawas beats in its kitchen, where familiar Lebanese flavors come alive through thoughtfully prepared dishes that invite sharing and discovery. Whether you find yourself savoring the subtle smokiness of grilled meats or the fresh crunch of vibrant greens tossed in zesty dressings, the experience feels rooted in tradition yet refreshingly authentic. Seasonal fruits, fresh almonds, and delicate salads add a gentle rhythm to the meal, balancing abundance with refinement.

Beyond the plate, there is a genuine sense of attentiveness—from a welcoming smile at the door to the steady, unobtrusive pace of service. The staff’s quiet professionalism enhances the space’s welcoming nature, lending to a dining experience that feels both relaxed and considered, even when the restaurant fills with weekend guests eager to share in its comforting atmosphere.

Evenings here carry a special kind of ease, where conversations can linger long after the last bite, and the view turns soft and expansive as the sun dips behind distant hills. Abu Nawas is not just a place to eat; it’s a moment of pause, a quietly joyful pause in the rhythms of everyday life, where food, company, and landscape come together with gentle harmony.

Most probably the best restaurant in Al-Danniyah in terms of location, cleanliness and taste. It also opens in the weekends during the winter season. The staff are well trained ans professional. The welcoming is usually good unless the restaurang is very crowded. There is an indoor seating area and an outside one. The restaurant has an astonishing view. The menu is rich, and there is a lebanese section and a western kitchen section. The cold and hot mezzas (Lebanese appetizers) are delicious. The grills are perfect, the meat and chicken are very tender, juicy and just grilled to prefection. The service is usually fast. Ofcourse, the prices here are higher than other restaurants nearby, but this is the price of the cleanliness and professional service. The presence of men and women praying areas is perfect! One thing this restaurant should take care of is the kids playing area. The swings, slides and other things are very old and not safe at all.

To put it briefly, the food was absolutely amazing, the waiters were super friendly, and the service was timely. Overall, a high-quality restaurant that I definitely recommend.

Is a splendid place with a wonderful landscape and view.. delicious and professional foods , clean and organised tables . serve fresh fruits after meals .. gentle staff.. but prices is expensive it will push customers move to another place more cheaper .. you have to pay 20$ for each person at least this price is not suitable for our circumstances in Lebanon , even for the tourists will find this it is a expensive according to the touristic countries ..any where , we were happy in this nice place.. we wish to Lebanon to recover soon

Great atmosphere, view and weather. The food tastes amazing, best in the area in my opinion, except the cheese rolls, those were ice cold. Highly recommend and the prices, if you have $, is very cheap
